How will your DAO organize itself to hold and express its purpose?

    1. What are the core spaces or circles in your DAO?

We will organize ourselves through the following spaces:

Stewardship Council – Holding the vision and ensuring alignment with regenerative principles
Welcome Circle – Managing the Welcome Center platform and onboarding new members
Village Square Circle – Facilitating collaboration and community connections
Marketplace Circle – Overseeing aligned transactions and value exchange protocols
Governance Circle – Managing the Council Hall and Hypha DAO integration
Learning Circle – Curating the Learning Center and knowledge sharing
Tech Integration Circle – Harmonizing Solana, Holochain, and SEEDS protocols
Regeneration Circle – Ensuring ecological and social impact alignment

    2. Who participates in each space — and how do they join or leave?

Participation in these spaces is defined as:

Stewardship Council: Founding members initially, then elected by the community for 1-year terms
Welcome Circle: Self-selected members who complete onboarding facilitator training, minimum 3-month commitment
Village Square Circle: Open participation with core facilitators elected quarterly
Marketplace Circle: Invited based on expertise in regenerative economics, with community approval
Governance Circle: Elected representatives from each circle plus community-elected members
Learning Circle: Self-selected educators and knowledge holders, approved by existing circle members
Tech Integration Circle: Technical contributors invited based on expertise, confirmed by Governance Circle
Regeneration Circle: Open to all members passionate about impact measurement and regenerative practices

Members can leave circles by giving a 30-day notice or through mutual agreement with circle members.

    3. What roles are needed within the DAO – and in which space of the structure do they sit?

We foresee the following roles or functions:

Vision Keeper (Stewardship Council) – Maintaining alignment with core purpose
Onboarding Facilitators (Welcome Circle) – Guiding new member journeys
Community Weavers (Village Square Circle) – Connecting members and initiatives
Value Flow Stewards (Marketplace Circle) – Ensuring aligned transactions
Proposal Shepherds (Governance Circle) – Supporting proposal development
Knowledge Curators (Learning Circle) – Organizing educational resources
Protocol Bridges (Tech Integration Circle) – Managing cross-protocol functionality
Impact Assessors (Regeneration Circle) – Measuring regenerative outcomes
Circle Coordinators (All Circles) – Facilitating internal circle operations
Cross-Circle Liaisons (Rotating) – Ensuring information flow between circles

    4. What aspects are currently centralized, and which are decentralized?

Right now, we hold centralization in:

Technical infrastructure setup and protocol integration
    Initial funding and resource allocation
Core platform development (Welcome Center, Village Square, etc.)
    Legal entity formation and compliance

We aim to decentralize the following areas:

Governance decisions through Hypha DAO implementation
Member onboarding through the Welcome Circle
Value exchange through the Marketplace protocols
Knowledge creation and curation through the Learning Circle
    Project funding through community proposals
Impact measurement through distributed assessment tools

    5. How will your structure evolve over time?

    Our structure will evolve through:
Quarterly Reflection Cycles: Each circle reviews its effectiveness and proposes adaptations
Annual Structure Reviews: Full DAO assessment of organizational design with community input
Emergent Circle Formation: New circles can form when 5+ members identify a need and gain community approval
Sunset Protocols: Circles can dissolve or merge when their purpose is complete or evolves
Progressive Decentralization: Moving from founder-led to community-led decision-making over 18 months
Fractal Expansion: Enabling regional or topic-specific sub-DAOs as the community grows
Continuous Learning Integration: Adapting structure based on lessons from other successful DAOs

Based on our current phase and vision, we are adopting a Hybrid DAO structure with elements of Fractal organization, allowing for both operational efficiency through specialized circles and community-wide participation in strategic decisions. This structure honors our commitment to regenerative practices while providing clear pathways for participation and evolution.
