Pranayama Masters Sequence: Yogic Breathwork & Meditation
ππ
Pranayama is a Sanskrit word formed by the conjunction of two words, namely βprana,β meaning breath of life/vital energy, and βayama,β meaning expansion/regulation/control. It is the yogic art of breathing, consisting of the deliberate modifications of the breathing process.
Practicing pranayama can help to clean all layers of the body, regulate the nervous system, and overall harmonise energies.
We will move through a sequence of breaths learned while in the Himalaya to prepare for a deeper meditative state and align the mind, body and soul for the day.
Practice will be for one hour which will include intervals of breath and meditation. Practice will be followed by Asana. Please enter the space in silence and maintain a sacred space after practice for those who would like to continue meditating.
