The Yuga Cycles and Our Place in Time
🕒 Timestamp: 05:01 – 20:00
The Yuga Cycles describe the great epochs of human civilization. The traditional understanding places the cycle at 26,000 years, divided into four ages:
- Satya Yuga (Golden Age) – A time of enlightenment, wisdom, and harmony.
- Treta Yuga (Silver Age) – The beginning of a decline, but still a high-vibration era.
- Dwapara Yuga (Bronze Age) – A time of accelerating technology and knowledge, but also chaos.
- Kali Yuga (Dark Age) – The period of ignorance, materialism, and suffering, which we are currently transitioning out of.
Exercise: Assessing Our Place in the Cycle
- Based on the events around us, do you feel like we are leaving the darkness or entering a new era?
- How do ancient myths and modern scientific findings align with this cyclical perspective?
